MILD SAUSAGE is the way our Mama Susie used to make it.  Although the process is a bit different, the recipe remains the same.  These hand folded dinner rolls are filled with fully cooked premium pork sausage and mixed with real Wisconsin sharp cheddar cheese, caramelized onions with red & green bell pepper, finely chopped tamed jalapeno, diced black olive and a little garlic.

BAKING INSTRUCTIONS  

Craig's Cajun Bread rolls are easily baked directly from frozen.  

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.  Cut bag open and separate the rolls.  Place rolls folded side down in a nonstick/greased muffin tin for best results, or evenly spaced on a cookie sheet.  

Bake for 25-30 minutes (or until tops are browned).  For a an extra burst of flavor, melt a stick of butter on the tops while still hot, or baste a bit of olive oil onto the tops of each roll. For a finishing touch, sprinkle some Tony's, Garlic Salt, or any other spice of your choice.

Alternative Cooking Instructions:

This product can also be deep fried.  Defrost the rolls to an internal temperature of 45° - 50°. Have the fryer set to 350 degrees, then drop for 5 minutes fully submerged.

(Craig's Cajun Bread rolls are “Take & Bake”, sold frozen by the dozen.  The savory meat mixture inside each roll is fully cooked prior to hand folding, flash frozen, then vacuum sealed.)
